> Sanctuary is a free, private faith companion for people who left the church but didn't leave Jesus. This host is its ChatGPT app: an MCP server exposing Sanctuary's prayer library and a safe house-church finder as tools, usable in ChatGPT, Claude, and any MCP client.

## Use Sanctuary as a tool (MCP / ChatGPT app)

- Add it in ChatGPT Developer Mode (Settings > Connectors > Add) or any MCP client.
- Tools:
  - find_prayer: an honest scripture prayer (NIV) for a feeling after leaving the church (broken trust, anger, grief, fear, loneliness, shame, doubt).
  - list_prayer_topics: the hard places Sanctuary has prayers for.
  - find_house_church: a safe guide to finding a house church or small group (honest reality, red and green flags, real directories, never vouches for a group).
  - about_sanctuary: what Sanctuary is and who it is for.
- Public, read-only, no auth. Anyone in crisis is pointed to 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) and Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741).
